Our judoka are constantly encourgaed to challenge themselves in weekly classes preparing for belt gradings or in preparing to compete in tournaments.
Kardinia Judo Club trains at the Kardinia International College gymnasium and Katsumata Centre stage. The club is open to all members of the public. Enter through the gates at the Ballarat Highway entrance at the top of Bell Post Hill and turn right to park outside the Katsumata Centre.
Hayden, mostly known as Hados, has done judo for over 15 years. He has competed for Australia and trained at the prestigious International Budo University in Japan.
Mizuho is a highly skilled third dan black belt from Japan. Very strong on the mat and a popular favortite among our junior judoka for her positive spirit, warm heart and broad smile.
Luca is a former Australian Champion who has represented Australia overseas. Highly skilled and one of the most determined competitors ever produced by the club, he is a friendly and helpful coach.
Younger brother of Luca, Jules coaches with Luca on Saturday mornings. One of the most talented judo competitors ever produced by the club, Jules is also a former Australian Champion.
